Welcome

WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU

Pastor Tom

We get it

Let’s face it, there are a lot of questions that come to mind when you wondering whether to come to church. And meeting people for the first time is sometimes awkward and could be challenging for some. Learning new people, places, and programs might be a challenge we will rather avoid. But a choice for Jesus Christ is never a wrong choice. Whether you have never been to a church or a returning to church, when you hang around the Washington International Church, you will find a family that welcomes you just as you are and a place where all your questions can be answered. We are a family pursuing an authentic relationship with our Creator, committed to values like grace and love. We hope that you are able to push through any barriers and join us this Sunday.

Can I Attend if I'm ____________?

Absolutely! Come just as you are no matter your fears. Whether you are divorced, addict, atheist, skeptic, etc., it doesn't matter. You are welcome here at the Washington International Church. We love you as Jesus loves you and we hope to see you this Sunday

Do I Need a Bible?

Everyone is welcome to bring their own Bible to worship, but we also have copies available for your use. Don't have a Bible? We will be happy to give you one.

Do You Take Offering?

As our guest we want you to feel no obligation to put anything in our offering plate. It is passed for those who are regular attenders of our church. You won't find us trying to squeeze cash out of you every time you walk through our doors. Giving should never flow out of compulsion or guilt but rather out of desire to love God and be a part of what He is doing through the church.

What Should I Wear?

There is no dress code at WIC. If you want to 'Suit Up', go for it! If you feel more comfortable in jeans and t-shirts, that works too. Wear the clothing that makes you comfortable. Your presence is more important to us than your outfit.

Are You a Christian Church?
